NSS Logo
The Meaning Behind Our Logo
The symbol of the National Service Scheme (NSS) is based on the 'Rath' wheel of the Konark Sun Temple in Odisha. The wheel signifies the continuous cycle of life. It portrays the progressive cycle of social change and nation-building.
The eight bars in the wheel represent the 24 hours of the day, reminding us of constant service to society. The red color in the badge indicates that the NSS volunteers are full of young blood, vitality, and a spirit of service. The navy blue color indicates the cosmos of which we are a tiny part, thereby reminding us of our humility.
Dedicated students working together to create positive social impact.
Communities where we focus our development and service activities.
Organized groups of volunteers working across different domains.
